TOUCH/CAST

The TOUCH/CAST NEXT Collective

As consumers become ever more sophisticated, and digital technologies change the way we communicate, agencies will have to place less emphasis upon ‘Ownership & Control’, and much more on genuine collaboration.
The real value of agencies is in conceiving ideas, and then being able to collaborate with other specialists to deliver the idea to their clients.
The ‘idea’ might be a revolutionary new approach to packaging, an online campaign driven by unfolding narrative, a street level installation, or a retail store concept – all of this on top of traditional advertising and direct marketing initiatives.
These collaborations may need industrial designers, performance designers, musicians, digital specialists, film and TV industry content providers amongst others.

This is why we’ve formed the TOUCH/CAST NEXT Collective:

Chris Tubbs

Tubbs, a London based kiwi, is passionate about exploring new ways in which brands and the music industry can collaborate. Working on exciting projects with brands such as Levis and Sony Ericsson has convinced him that there’s a new way forward. His own music career has included an album collaborating with members of Fat Freddy’s Drop (“Good Days, Better Nights”), the signing of his alias Atlantic Conveyor to BMG UK, and a highly successful DJ partnership with BBC Radio 1 star Zane Lowe both in the UK and Ibiza.

Although he has built his career around the music industry, Tubbs is a genuine leftfield thinker and problem solver- his work on forward thinking campaigns for Nokia and Saab is testament to that. He’s just the sort of person TOUCH/CAST NEXT love to work with.

We’re fortunate that after nine years away, Tubbs is looking to be based between Wellington, London and Ibiza (in the near future), and we’re delighted that he’s decided to join the TCN Collective.

Whether you want to talk about how music could be integrated fully into your brand experience, or are just looking for ways to source cool sounds for your next campaign, we can help.

" I prefer to be the guy behind the scenes that implements the ideas enabling businesses to establish an online presence; I love trouble shooting and making tricky challenges work."

Though a developer by trade, Nathan has a keen interest in the application of real-world marketing techniques that utilise digital 'glue', feeding multiple media channels, including traditional media, to fuel the user experience.

Offline Nathan is an enthusiast DJ and beatmaker, a hobby that has resulted in the production of several very successful musical creations that were used in nationwide mobile, TV and web campaigns.

After working for a variety of Wellington based web development companies (including TOUCH/CAST NEXT) Nathan now works remotely from the big smoke of Melbourne for a fresh perspective on life and new career experiences.
